Joachim Lundgren is a multi-awarded advertising, corporate and editorial photographer based in Nice, France and Stockholm, Sweden. He works on assignments all over the world for a wide range of international clients.
Joachim’s training as a war correspondent in the Swedish Armed Forces and studies at Berghs School of Communication and Poppius, the oldest journalism school in Scandinavia, launched him into documentary photography where he quickly distinguished himself covering international stories such as the War in Afghanistan, conflicts in Kashmir, elections in South Africa, every day life in North Korea and many other social and environmental issues spanning the continents of the world.
Recognised for his ability to capture and communicate complex stories in compelling images, leading brands and companies started to engage Joachim over a decade ago to help them develop their commercial campaigns and visual strategies.
Joachim has received much recognition for his work including several Picture of the Year awards in Sweden and Norway as well as the Euro Press Photo award, and the Picture of the Year International (POYI award).
Today, Joachim Lundgren and his team are pleased to have a number of long-term clients with whom they work on a range of projects related to photography and visual communications: corporate advertising campaigns, employer branding, photo archive management, as well as editorial and documentary assignments. Further, Joachim Lundgren is frequently engaged to speak at industry conferences and corporate gatherings about the role of photography in effective communication.
